In Healthy Knees Cycling, we've created a plan that will educate you on the best practices, tips and tools for reducing your knee pain. Each week we gradually progess you through different techniques to make you stronger and pain-free so that you can live the life and tell the story that truly describes you.
Hi, I'm Robin Robertson, creator and founder of the Healthy Knees Coaching program. I know all about knee pain. I was born with mis-shaped cartilage and had my first open-knee surgery at just 13 years old. By age 24 I was told that my arthritis was so advanced that I must stop all impact activities immediately if I wanted to walk when I was 30. As a competitive high school and collegiate runner and recreational skier, this was life-changing bad news. not one to take "NO" for an answer, I traded my running shoes for a bicycle and haven't looked back. Since then, I've ridden over 50,000 miles, competed in road and mountain bike racing, bicycle toured around the world, and have modified countless exercises to create a way to live a happy, healthy, active life.
Robin has helped hundreds of clients break the cycle of fear and pain to live the life they've always wanted. In addition to teaching classes, Robin also trains other fitness professionals her methodology with Healthy Knees Coach certification.

Our brand new RIDE cycle studio is located in the Bellingham Training & Tennis Club at 800 McKenzie Ave, Bellingham, WA 98225.
Our cycle studio features state of the art lighting, stadium style eating, top of the line Keiser bikes and is enabled with MYZONE heart rate technology.
Healthy Knees Level 1 :
Introductory level. Learn proper form, pedal stroke technique and tips to achieve maximum comfort on the bike.
Tuesdays and Thursdays at 8:30 am OR Tuesdays and Thursdays at 4:30 pm
45 minutes (30 minutes on bike + 15 minutes of strength & stretch)
Healthy Knees Level 2 :
Review and build on what you've already learned. Increase strength & stamina to do more things and experience more life!
Tuesdays and Thursdays at 9:30 am
60 minutes (45 minutes on bike + 15 minutes of core, strength & stretch)
I liked learning about the pedal strokes! I had never considered the positive effects on my knees...and I feel encouraged to continue taking more conscious care of my knees by cycling on a regular basis.
