Thinner Winner 2018

Guidelines & Rules for Participation:

  • This is a team weigh loss challenge. To participate, you must create or join a team.
  • Teams consist of five (5) people per team and must include at least two (2) non-members.
  • The winning team will receive the Grand Prize of $1000 total ($200 per team member)
  • All non-members receive a 6-week Thinner Winner Membership that includes unlimited drop-in fitness classes and access to our training floor during club hours.
  • The team that complies with the guidelines of the challenge and loses the greatest combined percentage of their starting team weight and body fat wins the Grand Prize.
  • If a contestant wants to become a member during the challenge, their membership and monthly payments will be deferred to the end of the contest. 
  • A minimum of ten (10) teams must participate in order to run the contest. A full refund will be given to each participant if the minimum requirements are not met. 
  • No refunds will be issued after the registration fee is paid, with the exception of the minimum team requirements not being met. 


Weigh-In Guidelines:

  • For your team to be eligible for the Grand Prize, all team members must attend the mandatory weigh-ins each week. If any team member fails to weigh-in within the specified weekly weigh-ins, the whole team will be disqualified. No exceptions will be made. However, you MAY weigh in earlier in the week or at a different time, by appointment, but you MAY NOT weigh in late.  
  • Participants must weigh in without shoes.  
  • Participants must weigh in with a BTTC personal trainer or approved staff member.


Daily Accountability Check-Ins:

  • Contestants are required to participate in a minimum of three (3) workouts at BTTC per week. This can be any combination of independent workouts, personal training and/or drop-in fitness classes. 
  • Each workout done at BTTC will be tracked on our workout calendar where each participant will receive a sticker on the day which they completed a workout. 
  • You receive a workout sticker for the calendar from your class instructor or from the front desk. Stickers will only be given on the same day of the workout. Sorry, no stickers for previous workouts or workouts done outside of BTTC. 
  • Teams with contestants not meeting the three times per week minimum workout requirement at BTTC will be disqualified from the Grand Prize, but may continue to participate in the challenge and be eligible for weekly and team prizes. 


Special Promotions & Prizes:

  • MYZONE fitness tracker can be purchsed by Thinner Winner Participants for $99 ($50 savings!) during the challenge. 
  • If contestants are interested in hiring a personal trainer to assist with their weight loss during the contest, our expert staff is available to contestants at an additional cost and will be offered a promotion rate of three (3) 30-minute personal training sessions for $99. 
  • After each weekly weigh-in, the top male and female who lose the highest percentage of their body weight will receive a free 30 minute small group training session led by Kendyl. It must be scheduled and used by the end date of the contest. Any unused sessions will be forfeited. BONUS: this 30 minute session can be shared with their teammates and made into a small group session!

January 12th: Kick-Off Party at 6:30pm

January 15th: First Day of Thinner Winner!

February 23rd: Lat Day of Thinner Winner & Finale Party (Winners will be announced!)

Weekly Weigh-In Days & Times:

Initial Weigh-Ins - TBA

Weekly Weigh-Ins will take place on Thursdays and Fridays.
